Sam Bankman-Fried might be in jail, but the NYT reports that he's still got a finger on the pulse with crypto. Bankman-Fried has been reportedly sharing crypto investment tips with prison guards, per NYT. Bankman-Fried is reportedly giving crypto investment tips and touting investments in the cryptocurrency Solana to prison guards, The Times reported on Tuesday, citing an unnamed source familiar with the matter. Bankman-Fried, Mukasey said, should be given a shorter sentence of five to six-and-a-half years. "A sentence that returns Sam promptly to a productive role in society would be sufficient, but not greater than necessary, to comply with the purposes of sentencing," Mukasey wrote.

Read previewTwo concertgoers from New York City are suing Madonna, as well as Live Nation and the Barclays Center, after the pop star started a show two hours late, leaving them tired for work the next day. The complaint, seeking unspecified damages, outlined that the two men booked to see Madonna perform at her "Celebration Tour" at Brooklyn's Barclays Center. Both plaintiffs went to the December 13 concert, where Madonna appeared onstage more than two hours late, it said. As a result, Fellows and Hadden contend they were "damaged as a direct and proximate result" of the late start time and are seeking a trial by jury. Last Wednesday, a Gen Alpha girl named Brooklyn made her older sister Liv Kaplan feel out of touch when she informed her that a slew of Gen Z and millennial slang, from "bae" to "pop off" to "slay," is no longer cool. Perhaps most surprisingly, to call someone a best friend, Brooklyn said Gen Alpha doesn't use "bff" as much as "bsf." (Though some commenters disputed this detail and accused Gen Alpha of "gentrifying" the word GYAT by turning it from a way to say "god damn" into an acronym.) @livkaplan Replying to @Noah Schnapp ASKING MY GEN ALPHA LITTLE SISTER WHAT SLANG IS IN PART 2 💋✨ @BROOKLYN ♬ original sound - Liv KaplanIn a follow-up video, Brooklyn provided more Gen Alpha-friendly phrases. Indicted FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried leaves the United States Courthouse in New York City, U.S., July 26, 2023. Elizabeth Holmes took the stand at her criminal trial, testifying over several days that she did not intend to defraud investors in her blood-testing startup, Theranos.
